Since 2020, Vườn Xanh Tốt has been implementing various non-pushing gas bag models to maintain low gas levels and prevent over-tapping stress on the trees. Combined with a versatile pole to tap latex from a distance, this approach helps the bark of the trees recover and develop well. These products, along with rain protection equipment such as caps and hats, have made it easier for farmers to apply the correct gas application method, achieving better results compared to previous product lines. Here are the types of plantations that can apply the pneumatic drilling or small mouth swabbing method:

- Plantations with rapid latex coagulation and low productivity (PP260), often experience mouth coagulation.

- Plantations with trees experiencing frequent bark dryness.

- Plantations transitioning to clear tapping.

- Plantations without traditional tapping practices.

- Plantation owners in poor health and unable to work at night.

For plantations with trees experiencing dryness or rapid latex coagulation at the tapping mouth, leading to productivity loss and increased costs due to transitioning to clear tapping, this method can be very effective.

This method is most effectively applied to trees aged 6 years and above, especially for thick-bark varieties such as PP, and VM,… 8 years for RRIV varieties, and 10 years for thin-bark varieties like LH. The circumference of the trunk at a height of 1.5 meters should be over 40 cm.

Increase latex according to the set standard: gradually increase latex by 10-20% each year, combined with monitoring latex density, ensuring that the increased latex is equal to or higher than the manually tapped latex compared to the previous year. When experiencing a decrease, adjust the frequency or reduce the gas volume accordingly.

Note: This method is not applicable to plantations located in low-lying, waterlogged areas, or areas with water levels equal to the tree base.

This method is most suitable for mature rubber trees aged 6 years and above, whether they have been manually tapped or not, and whether the tapping mouth is closed or still active.

Thin-bark trees are not suitable for this method due to difficulties in opening and closing the cap.
